Overview of ASUS Padfone
The Padfone is a revolutionary new device combination from computing pioneers ASUS. Always ahead of the game in design, ASUS rewrote the from factor rule book with the EEE range of notebooks and desktop computers in the late 00's and already have the industry talking over the new Padfone concept.
The Padfone is a high end Android device with all the usual mod cons expected of a modern mobile smartphone powerhouse, from ultra fast processing power and navigating speed to simple intuitive synchronisation with your PC and Google services. The jewel in the crown with the Padfone is the secondary tablet display - utilising a dock in the back of the tablet piece, you can slide the Padfone phone into the back, power the 10.1" display and seamlessly enjoy all the functionality of a tablet computer without the need for another device or slow boot up times between the two. ASUS also have strong ties to Garmin so a high end GPS module may feature in the Padfone.
Perfect for being able to mix and match when you need, Padfone allows you to keep only your phone to hand when you need to travel light and provides a robust storage solution for your phone when utlilising the tablet. Padfone will also negate the need for a separate data connection or contract for your smartphone and tablet - or for the tech savvy - avoid swapping a SIM card regularly between the two.
