A cross between the hugely successful BlackBerry Curve 8520 and the Bold 9700, the 9300 takes the best bits of each and combines them into a device that should be of interest to most.

Bigger than the 8520, but smaller than the 9700 the Curve 3G has the famous BlackBerry OS on board which gives you the functionality and email and instant messaging capabilities that other BlackBerry users have.

This is further complimented by the world famous BlackBerry style form factor. A front facing camera and non-touch screen display. The four line keyboard makes text and data entry simple, with no need for potentially fiddly on screen keyboard – everything on the 9300 is done through physical keys.

As you would expect too there is all the normal features such as a camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS but one of the greatest additions to this device is the optical trackpad.

Originally introduced on the Bold 9700, and then the Curve 8520 the 9300 does too benefit from this. A more reliable option than the trackball, the trackpad is a touch sensitive control that allows for simple navigation of menus and is clickable too.

The latest addition to the Blackberry Curve family the 9300 brings features not found on the 8520 at a price point that much lower than the flagship Bold 9700.
