Overview of BlackBerry Torch 9810
The BlackBerry Torch 9810 is the follow up to last year’s successful hit the Torch 9800. The 9810 keeps exactly the same factor combining a 3.2 inch touchscreen slider with a classic BlackBerry QWERTY keyboard. On the face of it the design hasn’t changed except for a new stylish silver finish, what makes the 9810 a contender is happening inside.
The 9810 will be one of the first devices to run the new BlackBerry 7 OS, a redesign of the system with a greatly improved browser supporting pinch to zoom and HTML5. The new Liquid Graphics interface brings a much higher standard of visual quality to BlackBerry devices bringing them up to speed with the competition. BlackBerry Balance is also included as a brand new feature to separate content streams into work and personal. Keep in touch with other BlackBerry users – upgraded BBM6 will also be installed.
The 9810 has had a power upgrade too to keep up with the demands of BB7, a powerful 1.2 GHz processor and improved graphics processing keep the 9810 at the top. There is also 8 GB of internal storage a 5 MP camera with HD recording, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi and a 1270 mAh battery to round up the usual Smartphone credentials.
