Overview of HTC Legend
HTC are famous for award winning designs and innovations, and the HTC Legend is another device to add to the growing list.
Incorporating the very latest software and hardware developments, the HTC Legend has been designed to appeal to those who need to remain connected.
Whether it be an SMS, MMS, Twitter, Facebook, email or a regular phone call, the HTC Legend caters for them all.
The Legend has the very latest Google Android 2.1 operating system on board, which has been customised by HTC, with their Sense interface to offer a user interface and operational experience that is natural and easy to use.
Using the HTC Hero as a basis for design, the Legend has been modified to include a 3.2 inch AMOLED display, offering even crisper and brighter images. The trackball has been replaced with a optical, clickable trackball which makes for simple navigation on menus and programs. This smartphone comes complete with 3G, HSDPA connectivity as well as Bluetooth and WiFi. Easier than ever to remain connected and online, the HTC Legend has been designed to be the centre of your lifestyle to compliment you and your personality.
With HTC Sense, you have 7 customisable home screens, all accessible from a swipe of the screen or 2 clicks on the home button.
The 11.5mm thick aluminium body offers a very rigid structure which will live up to the everyday rigours that life throws at it.
Additional usability features comes through a G-Sensor that rotates elements of the interface such as photos and web pages to make the experience better for you. A proximity sensor and ambient light sensor adjust phone settings to conserve power and improve the performance you get from the device.
Addicted to Facebook and Twitter? The new HTC Friend Stream application (pre-installed) lets you read what others have to say. Direct from the app, comment, or update your own status. If you want to post a picture you can do that as well. Take one from the internal memory, a memory card in the microSDHC card slot of the device, or capture one with the 5 megapixel camera (with flash) and upload it direct to the web.
Weighing just 126g the Legend is a GPS enabled smartphone that can bring real value to you and enhance your lifestyle.
