Overview of HTC Sensation
THE HTC SENSATION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. YO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER THE HTC SENSATION XE HERE OR THE HTC ONE S HERE.
The HTC Sensation is the stunning new Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone from HTC. Also known as the HTC Pyramid, the Sensation features a dual-core processor and 8MP rear facing camera.
Essentially, the HTC Sensation is the follow up to the HTC Desire HD, but offers double the power, an improved camera and a refreshed design. With its dual-core processor, the Sensation competes with the likes of the LG Optimus 2X and the Samsung Galaxy S II, while its 8MP Camera gives the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc a run for its money.
Featuring a 4.3-inch qHD Super-LCD screen, the HTC Sensation gives you plenty of space to view any snaps and videos that you capture with the 8MP camera. The camera features also include a dual-LED flash, face detection and geo-tagging, meaning you can take high quality pictures and easily remember the location.
The HTC Sensation comes loaded with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and the new version of HTC's custom Android skin, HTC Sense 3.0. There's a range of superb features offered by HTC Sense, including in-car navigation assistance, enhanced social media functions, and the ability to hush an incoming call with the 'Flip To Silence' feature.
As dubbed by HTC, the Sensation is a 'multimedia superphone'. The new HTC Watch service offers movies on demand which can be enjoyed on the device's large screen. When it comes to media sharing, there are plenty of options; DLNA capability offers the ability to wirelessly stream photos and videos to a compatible TV, while MHL technology provides HDMI out via the microUSB port.

Recommend to a friend? Yes "I have the sensation se excellent phone, it's performance is just so fast, there are other HTC mobiles in our household, this by far is the very best. I just wish I could have the xe with the beats as I love listening to music on mine and have a very large card to accommodate this! Oh battery life is not as I would like but if you use the widget on your desktop, to turn off all the things you don't use all the time, like gps, or wifi or even hsdpa then you will save huge amounts. So I will award it 5 stars because I believe in the product, oh & HTC uk is excellent, unlike Samsung who I have never been able to get hold of!" |
