Overview of JCB Toughphone Sitemaster TP802
Not all phone users work or operate in conditions that favour the modern mobile. If you’re a tradesman or equivalent it is quite likely that your phone is sometimes exposed to the elements and may be bearing the scars of some knocks and scrapes, unless you are very good at protecting it?!
The JCB Toughphone Sitemaster TP802 is a phone hat you should consider if it is time to replace your current phone.
We admit that it is not the most attractive of devices, nor is it as clever as the iPhone, but what it does benefit from is being able to operate and survive in your world.
A rugged mobile, the Sitemaster is water and dust resistant and meets military specifications and is certified to IP54 rating. Thus if you should drop it, it will survive as it has been designed to do so. It is also pressure tested to one ton!
Complete with a 2 year warranty you can be safe in the knowledge that this cost effective mobile phone may just be what you need.
Whilst hi-tech features are not in abundance, the on board FM radio will no doubt come in use if you spend hours on your own.
Also included is a torch and laser pointer. You may call them gimmicks but we bet you use them at some point!
More than suitable for someone in the trade the Sitemaster is a great all round solution to your mobile communication troubles.
PLEASE NOTE - DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THIS DEVICE YOU NEED TO USE THE PROVIDED USB CABLE & OFFICIAL CHARGING ACCESSORIES AS MOST AFTER MARKET CABLES & ADAPTORS WILL NOT FIT INTO THE MICRO USB CONNECTION. THE MICRO USB PORT ON THE DEVICE IS RECESSED AND THEREFORE NEEDS A SPECIALLY ADAPTED MICRO USB CABLE.

The instructions on the use of the phone are terrible compared to Nokia. I is difficult to determine whether capital letters numbers etc are selected.I found the single alarm sound was loud and also the large no of alarms, but I then found the alarm bell function stopped and was unreliable on any of the rest. There is no dictionary funtion so when you use an umcommon name one has to go to normal text every time, in my opinion the phone has not been fully developed"
