Overview of LG Optimus 3D
Being the first 3D smartphone the LG Optimus 3D offers something completely new to the world of mobile computing. Not only does this stunning smartphone feature 3D capabilities, it also comes with 'tri-dual' technology which incorporates a dual-core processor, dual-channel architecture and dual memory. This enables smooth web-browsing, seamless multi-tasking and top quality movie playback.
The supplied 3D media content is accessible from a specialized menu. This includes several 3D games, movies and pictures, with the ability to add your own creations and additionally content. The result is that you know where your 3D content is, without the functionality and usability of other functions on the handset being affected.
3D content can be viewed on the 4.3 inch WVGA display without the need for dedicated glasses. This means that you can view your content where ever you are. There is the ability to adjust the depth of the 3D affect during viewing content or playing games, so that it is comfortable and enjoyable. A 3D hotkey has been included within the design of the LG Optimus 3D. This button enables quick switching between 2D and 3D modes and additionally provides convenient access to the 3D menu.
To enable the creation of 3D content the integrated camera comprises of dual 5 megapixel lens. These enable the capturing and recording of both 3D videos and photos. Videos can be recorded in both 3D (up to 720p) and 2D (up to 1080p). Once you have created your masterpiece why not share it with friends and family? The LG Optimus 3D can be connected to your 3D TV using the integrated HDMI connector. Or why not upload them to the dedicated YouTube 3D Channel?
The combination of the dual-core processor, dual channel architecture and dual memory allows for faster data transfer on the LG Optimus 3D. This means that users can browse the web, play games and switch between applications faster. Higher frame rates are achievable within games and the overall performance of the device is enhanced. This additional power ensures that the handset can instantly respond to users request without any delays.
To ensure that there is sufficient storage space available for all your 3D creations 8GB of internal memory is supplied. This can be further increased using the microSD slot which is compatible with up to 32GB cards.
The LG Optimus 3D benefits from the installed Android operating system which enables you fully customise the device to your requirements. New applications can be downloaded from the Android Market and there is instant access to all of your social media websites like Facebook and Twitter.
