The Motorola DEFY Plus is the follow up to the Motorola DEFY, the highly popular 'Lifeproof' smartphone.

The DEFY Plus maintains the design of its predecessor but has a bolstered specification, which includes a 1GHz processor and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Resistant to dust and water, the DEFY Plus has an IP67 protection rating. Corning Gorilla Glass also ensures that the 3.7" display is scratchproof, providing peace of mind when you're out and about with your phone.

The DEFY Plus is the same size and weight as the original DEFY, but does come equipped with a higher capacity battery of 1700mAh. The 5 Megapixel camera is improved slightly as well, featuring auto focus, flash and digital zoom.

The connectivity features of the DEFY Plus are as you would expect, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and 3.5mm audio jack all present. Internal storage weighs in at 2GB, but up to 32GB of storage is available via microSD expansion.

Recommend to a friend? Yes " The handset is good but I have a problem with the JCB branded skin with shock absorption (pouch)it is no match for the heat in my country and has expanded so much that the phone is no longer offering the desired tougheness incase it is accidentally dropped. I tried returning it to Clove Technology but the cost of shipping back to UK are just too much. I would recommend better material for the pouch. Only good for cold weather conditions "

Recommend to a friend? Yes "Smartphone outwardly compact,neat and containment of JCB(rubber-harder than silicone),the display clear,vivid and the whole works great on it - I like :). Recommend to a friend? Yes "Great handset and considering the price it's specs are highly respectable and while not amongst the dule core Android phones out there, it's 1ghz processor is pretty good. The JCB Edition comes with an exclusive app that is not available on any other android phone nor is it available on the Android Market. ***A WORD OF WARNING*** Performing a factory reset on this phone will also delete the app itself from the phone, so just be aware, that I recommend you use something like 'Andro Zip' from the Android Market to back the 'Toolbox' App' before a factory reset."
