Overview of Motorola XOOM 2
The Motorola XOOM 2 (WiFi & 3G) is powered by a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb whilst offering WiFi & 3G connectivity. The XOOM 2 features an all new display; strengthened by Corning Gorilla Glass and comes with a special splash guard coating that is designed to make your XOOM 2 more durable and stain resistant. The XOOM 2 is approximately 100 grams lighter than the original XOOM and boasts a brighter screen with colour enhancement.
Android 3.2 features Google's Mobile services as well as their fully customisable and interactive interface. Gmail, Gtalk, YouTube, Maps, Navigation and much more, it is all here. A complete mobile PC, Using WiFi or 3G your Xoom 2 connects to a wireless internet connection to allow you to complete your online tasks.
The battery on this model promises more than 10 hours of life on a single charge. Great for business users; the XOOM 2 comes preloaded with data encryption, VPN support, Active sync for synchronizing email, contacts and calendar appointments.
Connect to Facebook, Twitter, browse the web, upload pictures to Picasa or Flickr it is all possible on the move via your 3G connection (sim card required). Thanks to a powerful 1.2GHz processor, the Xoom 2 is capable of handling multiple tasks at once.
A rear facing 5 megapixel camera allows you to capture photos and the autofocus and LED flash help get a better picture. On the front of the device there is too a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera for online chatting.
If you need to remain connected and want to take your office with you but want a big screen without the added bulk of a laptop, then the new XOOM 2 could be the answer.
