Overview of Nokia 808 PureView
Be part of a revolution in mobile photography with the Nokia 808 Pureview.
The Nokia 808 Pureview incorporates a large, high-resolution 41 megapixel camera. This is possible with the high performance Carl Zeiss optics which are included and new pixel oversampling technology. The result is incredibly detailed photos which can be taken instantly with amazing zoom capabilities. Having high performance optics also means that you can have full HD 1080p video recording always with you. The media experience is further enhanced with Nokia including Dolby headphone technology for personal surround sound.
The incredible 41 megapixel camera included with the Nokia 808 Pureview has some amazing features. At standard resolutions (2/3, 5 and 8 megapixels) it has the ability to zoom without loss of clarity and capture seven pixels of information, which is condensed into one pixel for the sharpest images imaginable. At high-resolution (38 megapixel maximum) it means the ability to capture an image, before zooming, reframe, crop and resize afterwards to expose previously unseen levels of details.
If you don’t want your photography to be affect by poor light conditions. You will be pleased to know that the Nokia 808 Pureview can be used in most conditions. With superior low-light performance it can be used almost anywhere. There is also the ability to save in compact file sizes for sharing in email, MMS, and on social networks, so you can let everyone instantly see your masterpiece.
In addition to superior still imaging technology, the Nokia 808 PureView, also includes full HD 1080p video recording and playback with 4X lossless zoom and the world's first use of Nokia Rich Recording. Rich Recording enables audio recording at CD-like levels of quality, previously only possible with external microphones. The Nokia 808 PureView also features exclusive Dolby Headphone technology, transforming stereo content into a personal surround sound experience over any headphones.
The incredible media features are backed up by a powerful 1.3GHz processor which ensures you have a constantly smooth and enjoyable experience. This brings your movie experience to life and provides quick and responsive access to your favourite websites. You will be able review your photos and movies on the large 4” AMOLED Clear black display which also benefits from Gorilla Corning Glass for protection. It is also possible to connect to a HDMI compatible TV using the HDMI or DLNA connectivity. So you can easily share your creations with family and friends.
