The Nokia Lumia 820 benefits from have a premium unibody design, but can also use easy to fit exchangeable covers. It benefits from Windows Phone 8 being included which brings a personal experience to your smartphone. This enables you to interact with people in a natural way, due to applications being fully integrated. An 8 mega pixel camera is included with the Lumia 820 which features Carl Zeiss optics for great photos. These can be fully enjoyed when viewed on the 4.3” ClearBlack display which provides vivid and rich colours. There is also convenient wireless charging.

With a high quality 8 mega pixel which features Carl Zeiss optics it is possible to capture bright and vivid photos. Smart Shoot enables you to get the perfect group photo. It does this by taking a series of photos and then merges them together so that everyone looks their best.

The Nokia Lumia 820 also comes with Nokia City Lens, the latest addition to the Nokia location suite. By pointing the camera at a city street, City Lens overlays information about restaurants, shops, hotels and more on the surfaces of buildings, for the most intuitive way to explore surroundings. Nokia City Lens is the start of a new augmented reality experience that also enhances Nokia Maps, making it possible to move between map view and augmented reality view to help people check their surroundings.

Along with enhancements to Nokia Drive and Nokia Transport, the Nokia location suite of services represents the most comprehensive, integrated mapping experience of any smartphone. It features off-line maps straight out of the box, avoiding the need to be constantly connected to a data connection, or downloading different areas.

Windows Phone 8 brings a user rich experience to smartphones. It has been designed to share data between various applications so you can easily share photos, find out what people in your life are doing and keep in contact. The main screen is fully customisable allowing the active tiles to be easily adjusted and moved to different positions. You can also work outside of the office as the Lumia 820 comes with full versions of Microsoft Office and Outlook. With it you can create and edit PowerPoint, Excel and Word documents with ease and seamless sync.

The Snapdragon S4 Processor provides you with the performance to run the most demanding applications, including gaming, photography and business productivity. While additionally saving battery power by using asynchronous technology which enables each core to be power up and power down independently. This technology results is a smartphone which lasts longer between charges.

Wireless charging is available using an exchangeable cover. With it you will never need to plug your handset in again for charging. It uses the Qi standard for wireless charging so it should be compatible with various products. Nokia has released details of a Fatboy charging pillow which provides a convenient and easy metod of charging.

We all enjoy music and with Nokia Music you can stream music straight to your smartphone. You can select music from your favourite artist or tune into hundreds of channels. Playlists can be downloaded and listen to when there is reception. Best of all Nokia Music is free.

Recommend to a friend? Yes "Just to thank you for getting my Nokia Lumia 920 out so quickly. It's an amazing phone and the W8 OS is so easy to use it reminds me of an iPhone but better. If I had to describe the Lumia 920 I would put it in the “Bentley category” of phones. It may be heavy and larger than a couple of other "premium phones" out there but the engineering, quality and performance are really superb. As typical from a Nokia phone, the audio is very loud and clear, the screen colours are so true it makes the Samsung look cartoonish. You can also see it outside in daylight. As for buyers worrying about lack of APPs. Out of the many I use on my Android there was only two that were missing from W8 - Sonos & Dropbox. There is a viewer for the latter but you can't add, for now. I am a phone nut – I bought the Motorola RAZRi from you last month and this year have got through Sammy S3, Note and One X. You were the very first company to offer the Lumia 920 on sale and to date I think still are the only supplier to have had stock and actually know when more is arriving. Most others don't - even Amazon. Excellent service and a very happy customer."
