Overview of Samsung Galaxy Extreme Xcover
Water resistant, dust resistant, scratch resistant - they're just a few of the qualities of the Samsung Galaxy Extreme. The Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone has an IP67 protection rating, meaning it can survive under a meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
However, the ruggedized features of the Extreme have not compromised its design and it maintains a slim profile, measuring in at just 11.95mm thick. The Extreme also includes the usual line-up of smartphone features, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroSD expansion, 3MP camera and 3.5mm earphone jack.
The latest addition to the Samsung Galaxy range, the Extreme comes with Android Gingerbread 2.3 and its robust design makes it perfect for the smartphone user that has an active lifestyle. With a phone that's waterproof and dustproof, you need not spend too much time ensuring that your handset is out of harm's way.
As well as Android Gingerbread, the Galaxy Extreme comes with Samsung's TouchWiz User Interface. This is powered by an 800Mhz processor and displayed on a 3.65 scratch resistant display. There's even a torchlight included to assist with any late night activities.
