Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Overview
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is best described as a bigger version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 or the original Galaxy Note that had a 5.3" display.
The Note 10.1 of course has a bigger 10.1" HD tocuchscreen which makes it more practical for many tasks from web browsing to video playback. It has been designed to enhance productivity and creativity.
With Google Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) on board there is endless possibilities when it comes to device customisation and expanding the options you have with the Note 10.1.

Use it as a media device for playback of music and audio. Use it as a mobile computing solution for work, creating documents and sending emails. Use it as a web browser or even use it as a way of accessing all the content on your home or office PC when away from the desk. Thousands of applications can be downloaded from Google Play Store to expand the possibilities, but you do have many pre-loaded including GMail, Maps, Navigation, GTalk, and YouTube to name just a few.
Included in the box is the S Pen, this is the key tool in making you more productive with the Note 10.1. When paired with S Note application. There is no requirement for paper to jot down notes just use the Note. Create or edit a document, just use the S Pen like you would a normal pen but this time, it is all digital and you can share your creations by email on the web or through many other mediums.

Handwriting recognition is part and parcel of the Note and enhanced palm rejection means that you can be sure that an accidental tap on the screen with your hand will not affect what you are doing. As if this technology was not enough, there is too Shape and Formula match. Draw a circle or square by hand and the Note will transform it into the perfect circle and a straight square! Handwritten formula gets changed into standard type for greater legibility.
The possibilities of design on a tablet are becoming ever greater. The Note comes with Adobe Photoshop Touch installed so you can edit and add effects and then share with the world. You do too get 2GB of FREE cloud storage with Creative Cloud to store your designs.
Multi-screen functionality improves your efficiency. Like you would on a desktop computer, re-size applications to allow you to multi-tasks with ease. Have a web page open as you work in S Note or have your emails open whilst viewing attachments. What's more the capability of S Note allows you to drag elements between applications like the browser and the notes application to make note taking and editing simple. (Multi screen works with 6 apps, including S Note, Web browser, Video Player, Email, Gallery and Polaris Office).

With AllShare Play, you can wirelessly share content with other Samsung devices to watch movies, view pictures or listen to music. AllShare cast will connect to a large TV to mirror the screen or your Note 10.1, perfect for gaming of video playback. It is quite likely too that you will use the Note for video playback as it supports full 1080P HD video playback, a MicroSD memory card slot for additional storage and sound alive technology for an improved audio experience.
Pop Up Play was first seen on the Samsung Galaxy S3 and now debuts on the Note 10.1. Watch video content whilst doing something else. Using Picture-in-Picture (PIP) technology you can move the video around the screen as well as re-size it whilst checking your email, reading your favourite news websites and much more.
Smart Stay is another innovative feature which you do not appreciate until you have used it. Smart Stay uses the front facing camera on the Note to detect whether or not you are looking at the screen. If you are the backlight will remain on and not dim like many other devices. If you are not looking at the screen then it will dim the backlight. This is particularly useful if reading an e-book or text heavy documents or websites.

A powerful 1.4 GHz quad-core processor has been included with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 as has 2GB or RAM. This is to ensure that you are able to take full advantage of the unique features of this tablet and can fully enjoy your favourite movies, apps and games. Whatever you want the tablet to do, it should do it in super quick time, giving you an extremely pleasing user experience. It additionally provides a responsive and enjoyable web browsing experience. This is further improved with the inclusion of HSPA connectivity (model dependant). So you can enjoy the web without having to always be near to a WiFi access point.
Whilst there are different internal memory options available, you can further expand the memory available to you with the microSDHC memory card slot and you do too get 50GB of Dropbox cloud storage!
It is quite incredible that you get all this in a device that is just 8.9mm thick and weighs 600g.
