"This is my first android phone i am using, in past i am great fan of nokia and symbian OS,i went to buy Apple Iphone 4s roamed all over the mall for iphone,Sony xperia, finally went into one retailer and asked him waht can the best phone be to buy as of today, he showed iphone only, but really believe me when returning back from that shop, suddenly i saw the poster of samsung galaxy s2 , my cousing has used the previous version of s2 and told me its complex to handle,so i asked him to show the phone and when i saw the features of it and compared it with iphone4 , i directly pulled out the money and gave him. all this happened in 1 minute.But after buying the phone even though first 2 days i am a bit confused as i told this is my first android phone.

It can be normal for the lowest priced phones (50-100 USD) from noname China, but not for Samsung flaghsip at this price. You still want this bugged phone? I will wait next flagship. "

"Very good phone! There are some issues in pairing with Parrot bluetooth, likely due to Samsung interface. Parrot pairing problems gone after installation of SPB shell 3D. Cold GPS fix still slower than Iphone. I am very happy with this phone so far. It is as good if not better than iPhone 4. "

"First of all, i cannot fault the guys from Clove and their incredibly quick delivery of the phone to me in KSA. Secondly, start using your iPhone as a paperweight because unless they pull a magic rabbit out of the hat, they are going to be well behind the game with iPhone5 when it appears.
Aside from battery life, which can be managed, this phone is a fabulous pice of kit and well worth the investment.
Hard to believe it has more processor power and bigger internal storage than my old series 1 iMac!!

Have to say I have not been lucky with my S2.
Fully charged overnight and with 1h 30mins use during the day (since I can only use it during work breaks) and battery is already at 45%. Ridiculous. My previous phone (which was stolen hence the purchase of this one) was the Blackberry Bold 9700 and battery life (with a lot more use was around 2-3 days) so guess Im not used to this let down. Defeats the purpose of the phone. Whats the use of having an amazing phone if you cant use if because battery is dead? I am really considering returning it and hoping that in future generations they will improve it.
However the only other option I can see is actually getting an extra battery charged and change them around.
The things I have used on my phone to try (and often fail) to improve battery life is always have screen brightness on auto, i use task killer a lot (since all samsung's hubs and gallery and other useless things seem to insist on run without me even touching them), wi-fi and sync off.
My personal opinion is that the Hubs are useless and I wish there was an option to remove/delete/hide them. Simply hate them and they actually dont do anything for me.
The screen...yes it is amazing but to be honest you cant see the benefits of it since it over drains the battery. So would I sacrifice the supposedly stunning screen for a longer battery life? Definately!
Another thing that has got me thinking is that I have a friend who has the original Galaxy and he clearly noticed that once he upgraded to gingerbread his battery started lasting a lot less. Could it be the OS that is the let down?
With the construction I have to agree its a let down too. Feels cheap.
Just disappointed overall with the fact its a stunning phone but that in the end you cant use it as you should because battery will not hold.
