The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is a slight upgrade to the Xperia Arc.
The Arc S benefits from a few small improvements which include:
- 1.4GHz processor as opposed to the original Arc's 1GHz (delivering up to 25% faster performance)
- 3D sweep panorama technology - Take your pictures with 3D Sweep Panorama. View them on a 3D TV or on the multi-angle 3D display.
- Sony entertainment network services access - Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited - Download media direct to your smartphone
- 25% faster camera start up time
- 20% faster web page rendering
- Improved call and standby time
The new flagship Android device from Sony Ericsson the Xperia Arc S has those small improvements that can make all the difference.
Featuring a 4.2" Sony Reality Display and Sony's Mobile BRAVIA Engine, this uniquely shaped handset is designed to deliver the richest multimedia experience possible. You have read all about AMOLED, but Sony Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine is arguably as good!
Using the latst in screen technology the Arc is designed to give one of the best visual experiences going. Sony has even gone as far as removing the air gap between the glass and display which has enable light reflection to be reduced for beteer visibility, even when outdoors.
On board is one of the best 8.1 megapixel camera with a whole range of features including LED flash, smile and face detection, image stabliser, auto focus, geo-tagging, red eye reduction and an aperture of f/2.4 with the ultimate intention of producing a brillaint picture. With the built-in HDMI connection you can easily connect the Sony Ericsson Arc S to a high definition TV for viewing you photos and videos on a larger screen. And of course thanks to WiFi and 3G connection you can share these images and other content with your favourite networking sites, friends, family and contact with ease. No more wires, wireless technology ensures it is simple and fast when it comes to sharing content.
These same high speed connections can be used for viewing online content and media and providing a rich user experience.
Talking of media, synicng with iTunes is not a problem either, Sony Ericssons desktop software allows this. So say good bye to your ipod and mobile phone and integrate them into one. You will be surprised at just how easy it is. Dont worry about limited memory, lthough there isn't that much internally, insert a microSDHC memory card (up to 32GB) and you can load up most, if not all of your music library.
With Google Android 2.3 on the device as standard, you get all the Google services you could need including, Gmail, YouTube, Maps, Navigation and much more. Providing you have an internet connection and a Gmail account (free to sign up) there is so much you can do with the Xperia Arc S.
