Overview of Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray
The all new Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is part of the company's 2011 run into more socially media oriented smart phones. The Ray is very similar to and in some ways a smaller version of the current flagship Xperia Arc device. With a 1 GHz processor, identical 480 x 852 pixel Reality Display with BRAVIA Engine at a smaller 3.3 size and a stunning 8.1 megapixel camera, the Ray could be the perfect Android for the person who is looking for a feature filled handset that doesn't break the bank or stretch the lining of your pockets.
Facebook Inside is the new integration from Sony Ericsson for all Android devices running or updated to Gingerbread 2.3.3 and comes as standard with the Ray. Never before has managing your Facebook account and social interactions been so closely tied to your phone. Added features include the ability to share and 'like' tracks from the built in music player, direct tagging from the photo gallery and enhanced contact and calendar synchronisation with events, birthdays, updates and likes all presented on screen to keep you updated and closer to your friends ever before.
Sony Ericsson have continued their long tradition of high quality cameras included in their devices with an 8.1 megapixel unit in the Ray. The camera also features Sony's Exmor R mobile CMOS sensor to capture high quality images and videos in low light conditions and enhance the colour and vividness of those taken in the day. High definition video recording to 720p resolution is also natively supported at the touch of a button to keep those memories as clear on screen as the day you remember them.
FM Radio, aGPS, WiFi, 3.5G, DLNA and a scratch resistant screen wrap a list of impressive features inside the slick design that make the Ray a fantastic all round device for the modern, socially active gadget fan that needs a fast, portable device to keep in touch with the world
