The Xperia tipo is an entry level device in the Xperia range, however entry level does not necessarily mean that it lacks the key features that keep you connected.
The tipo is an Adnroid smartphone, so downloading apps, customising your home screen and personalising your phone is central to the device. With WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth you are not limited in terms of connectivity options either.
Checking the weather, Facebook, Twitter, G or streaming music or media it is all possible on the tipo.
On board memory is available, but at 2.5GB of user accessible memory its not likely to be enough for all your photos, music and movies. So a microSDHC memory card slot allows you to expand the memory up to an additional 32GB.
With a smaller 3.2" touchscreen display and a 3.2 megapixel camera Sony are able to offer a more portable and cost effective smartphone for you. Whilst some require larger screens and megapixels you might not. Such reductions do too keep the weight and overall size of the device down; the tipo is a phone you can carry comfortably in your hand and pocket.
Use the on board camera to take pictures or video, use the WiFi or 3G to upload or share via the internet.
An in-built GPS receiver and Google Maps/Navigation lets you find where you are and navigate from point A to B in ease.
Powered by a 1500mAh battery, even the heavier users should get a day's use from the tipo, but if not just charge it via the standard microUSB connection.
