The I9000 Galaxy S is Samsung’s flagship Android device. The Galaxy S not only runs the latest version of Android (2.1), but packs a feature set sure to rival that of any other Smartphone.

Recommend to a friend? Yes "Great phone.I have been using it for one week.I was using the Samsung Omnia 2 before.The difference is immense. Software the are lots of better programs in Android and lots of them for free.But still lots of application need to be available for the Android Market.I am sure it will come in due time.The best part is that you can customize your own phone. The touch screen is way better much more responsive.The screen is amazing.I still think a 3.7 inch screen is the standard for phones.Its a phone not a tv.But Super AMOLED is very good.Its a very light weight phone and very thin. The Negative part now. Samsung does not provide a pouch with it compared with the Samsung Omnia 2 Samsung did not put a LED Flash support for the Camera on a such high end device. The battery is a problem if you use WIFI it will last only a day max.But without the constant use if Wifi can go longer two days or even more. Plastic matter is not as great as the Samsung Omnia 2.So will need a carrying pouch or a silicon case. There are no other flaws till now. Android 2.1 is miles ahead of Windows Mobile 6.5. So overall i will recommend this phone.For the price it is its really an Iphone Killer.What would have made it certainly kill Iphone is an LED Flash. I rate it at 85/100 i can't give 4 1/2 stars."

"The phone I've bought from this store has arrived later than the promise date by one week. Also, the 3-button-problem is available in this version ..XXJM1 Samsung Canada has released solution to thier customers but UK did not yet. I don't know if the international warranty will force the local agent in my country to fix the problem and add arabic language support?!!!"
