Overview of HTC Touch Diamond2
Now supplied with the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 Pre-installed
The HTC Touch Diamond – Now improved!
When you first see and start exploring the HTC Touch Diamond2, you'll be struck by its brilliant looks and amazed by the intuitive controls.
In today's world, a conversation can take many forms, from voice to text … but there's always a person on the other end. The HTC Touch Diamond2 arranges your conversations by people, not just by how you speak with them.
When looking at your contacts, you now can see a history of your conversation in whatever form it took place. It doesn't matter if you get asked about a recent email while you are talking on the phone or if you’re in a café reminiscing about a friend's recent text – all your interactions are neatly laid out for viewing and follow-up in a tree of communication with that person.
One indisputable fact about smartphones is a big screen on a small phone is good. That’s why HTC have stretched the Touch Diamond2’s display to its very limits, whilst keeping the same compact size. Enjoy videos, websites, photos and any other images on the ultra sharp wide screen display. The high resolution screen will reveal every minute detail in the most vivid way.
Improvements on the Touch Diamond2 include an extra 0.4" on the display, now 3.2". A microSDHC card slot and bigger battery add to the reasons why this device is so good. There is even a G Sensor, FM radio and zoom function for photos and web pages.
The Touch Diamond2 helps you keep connected with friends, business partners and world events, it also helps complement who you are. The Touch Diamond2 is your perfect companion.

"I received my TD2 three days after purchase. Excellent device."
Braulio (Brazil)
"Looks good but if camera being same of Touch HD then not worth buying as i am using HD but I use as phone does not have camera very very bad camera and recording more worse.May HTC improve on camera quality."
Amit Bedi (India)
"Great service from Clove as usual. Ordered on the Monday, delivered on the Tuesday. Initial impression of this PDA was great - a big step up from the Glofiish X600 I was using. Who cares what the box is like - come on guys get a life! We are all supposed to be thinking Reduce, Recycle, Reuse and HTC have done just that. Well done to them for that! However having used the phone for a week now I have a few gripes. Firstly the 3FTD Software is not so user frienldy and with the sensitivity of the touch screen you constantly end up activating the wrong menus and have to go back to start each time. Having just played with the iPhone I would say the comparison is limited to the graphics - there is little similarity in the usability. I was using SPB software and am thinking of going back to this. Secondly I have still not managed to load the supplied CoPilot Software and have wasted a full day trying. All in all what looked like a great purchase is turning a bit sour. It is still a great piece of kit - just not quite as great as HTC would have us believe."

"Had my mine for 2 days now and got to say i'm impressed on every level.
The screen is amazing, the pixel count is so high that you can read even the smallest font sizes on websites etc.
The touchscreen is very sensitive and touchflo gives easy access to the most commonly used funtions. Its finger friendly and the stylus only needs to come out when you start to play around on settings screens on WinMob 6.1 which should improve greatly in the 6.5 free upgrade.
Call quality is good with strong signal strength even indoors where it can often be a problem for me.
The camera is very easy to use and theres only a very tiny pause between taking a picture and being ready to take the next one. Ive got an 8gb mem card in mine and that seems to be plenty for now.
Music player again is very easy to use and comes with all the usual features such as playlists sorted by artist, genre and all tracks etc, quality of play back is good but as with most phones i would recommend using your own better quality headphones.
Overall i would recommend this phone to anyone, its solidly built with great a UI and definitely has a more adult feel to it. Cant think of another phone out at the moment that comes near it as an overall package."
Daniel (Bradford, UK)
"Very fantastic mobile, It has an elegant design with perfect screen.
Clove service was excellent"
Abdullah Alrashed (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia)
"Battery life has been extended in Diamond2,also TF3D is really fast than previous one, I think the price is deserved comparing with IPHONE 3G. Thanks "HTC&Clove" ."
Khaled AlShabanat (Saudi Arabia)
"Great stuff! My girlfriend got this device after having used my Touch HD for a while. We hooked the Diamond2 to Snelbij.nl and she was up and running with all her e-mail, contacts and calendar entries synchronised over the air in 15 minutes.
For her, the HD was just little to big, but the Diamond2 is perfect. She has to hold the device just a little closer to her eyes, but besides that she's very happy. Apparantly, the FM radio works like a song, and she can enjoy listening to the radio on her bike-ride to the office. Battery life is average, it has to be charged overnight. However, any mini-usb charger will work, so she can also use Blackberry and Motorola chargers (plenty of those about at the office).
Another winner for HTC!"
Benjamin (Amsterdam)
"A triumphant re-invention of the Diamond; the physically larger screen in the (apparent) new standard WVGA, and a faster more touch-optimised user interface make this the device HTC should have released last year, rather than the awful thing that almost made me recoil in horror. The only things potential buyers should consider are whether to spend a little more for the similarly-performing HD, which includes a huge screen and headphone socket, or wait for the Pro2 with a hardware keyboard and bigger screen, both of which will sport better battery life than the Diamond2. And yes, the packaging is cheap, if you spend a lot of time gazing at cardboard boxes, you may be disappointed."
Ian Davenport (Reading)
"This device definitely has got to be considered as the poineer of future gen mobile devices.
The touch flo 3D is very responsive and handy for the features. The screen is just what i always wanted for browsing display. To HTC;consider all-screen rotation for future phones. "

"Love it, Love it, Love it! I own the Diamond & the Diamond 2, and the difference is really noticable. The TF3D is really fast, the battery life is amazing. Many thanks to Clove for delivering it for a fantastic price as well!"
Piero Timpano (Malta)
"Great upgrade from my Omnia. Love the TF3D! This was my first order from clove.co.uk and I will definitely buy again from them. Very fast delivery and communication. Not to mention the price.
Thanks a lot."
Antonis (Salonika, GR)
"I ordered my TD2 yesterday and it arrived at lunch time today. My first thoughts on opening were 'wow!' and 'it's tiny'. My wife's just got an iPhone, but I'm a Win Mobile guy - it's important to me that this thing is sexier than the iPhone, and so far it is winning hands down. Start up was easy - just put the SIM in and off it went. The screen is bright, very crisp and clean. TouchFLO which I've never used before is OK to use - I am still getting used to it though. The camera is great. So far I love it. It looks and handles like a beauty!"
Richard (Southampton, UK)
"It doesn't have build in storage huh? I think SamSung I900 Omnia out run this device here with 16gb build in storage and also add extra storage. The only thing this phone better than Omnia is the 3D touch screen. For me I enjoy online entertainment so I think Omnia is the best 1 to pick. For about 500 dollars phone, I would buy Omnia 1st, 2nd HTC touch diamond 2, 3rd Iphone or maybe never cause $600 for an unlock Iphone. I see too many people with Iphone,so it's a big turn off for me with that on Iphone."
Phi (usa)
"Fantasttic, but the box isn't sexy"
AhmedAlramadhan (USA)
"This got to be the sleekiest phone that HTC has to offer this year. Can't wait to get my hands on the phone. Wish that they added a flash for the camera."
Sherwin (Manila, Phil)
