Overview of HTC Wildfire
You can’t afford to remain unconnected today and thanks to the Wildfire and HTC Sense interface this will not be an issue. Twitter, Facebook and Flickr it is all accessible direct from your home screen.
With HTC’s Friend Stream you can view all your friends updates at any time, Constantly updated through the Wildfires WiFi or 3G connection you too can update your status on multiple network sites in just a couple of clicks.
Running Android 2.1 the HTC Wildfire can handle almost anything you need to do on a phone. From phone calls, text messages, email, internet browsing or gaming it is all possible.
Interactive widgets offer an interactive way of accessing applications and your favourite contacts. Programme shortcuts to your home screens and customise the device to suit you and your lifestyle.
So you get a call, the contact picture pops up on screen but with the HTC Wildfire you get too additional information such as their Facebook status and birthday date, no longer does just their name and telephone number appear.
The finger friendly and interactive interface is continued throughout all applications. Web browsing is no exception. Pages automatically re-align to fit the 3.2 inch screen of the Wildfire to make for easy reading and browsing. Want to zoom in or out? Just pinch the screen and watch it change. Flip the phone into landscape mode, the page flips too and renders for viewing in landscape.
A great little smartphone, added benefit comes from a polite ringer on the HTC Wildfire. Now, as soon as you lift it up to see who is calling, the ringer volume drops. And if you turn it over, it stops ringing altogether and quietly takes a message.
With built-in Microsoft Exchange support, synchronising your email and calendar is easy. You can also look up the contact info for anyone in your company directory — even if they’re not stored on your phone.
Other impressive features include a dimmable flashlight (perfect if you drop your keys in the dark) and a FM radio.
