Description

D-Link Cloud Network Video Recorder DNR-322L Overview

Perfect for storing recordings from your D-Link IP cameras, whether you have just one or a full surveillance network, the DNR-322L is a standalone storage device. Up to 9 networked D-Link IP cameras can be configured to a single DNR-322L. Using a mydlink, you can remotely access your surveillance suite from a web portal or Interent connected smart mobile device to watch live streams or play back recorded footage.

Wireless connectivity

The DCS-942L is a perfect choice where you have readily available power, however running network cable is unsightly of not logistically possible, such as an external shed, garage or storage room. Ethernet connectivity to traditional wired networks remains available where wanted or required.

Simple Installation

Designed for personal or small business use, the DNR-322L is easily modifiable to suit your needs. There are two available bays for traditional hard drives, you can choose the storage that best suits your needs. Personalised configuration allows the DNR-322L to record either continuously, at specific times or when particular events are triggered in the network (such as motion detection from a connected camera).

Example: Two 3TB HDDs can store highest quality audio & video from 4 D-Link DCS-942L IP Cameras simutaneously for up to 6 weeks.

Installation is incredibly easy; simply connect the DNR-322L to your network via Ethernet and power on. Run the included installation CD and assign the DNR-322L to your existing mydlink account (or create a new one if you are a first time user). The newly installed Video Recorder will even auto-discover D-Link IP Cameras on your network.

mydlink Cloud Services

Gone are the days of complex setup requirements for IP cameras. Using mydlink Cloud Services, you can access the cameras connected to your network remotely at your convenience. A simple step-by-step guide is also included for first time users. A simplified web portal is available for initial configuration of your new IP camera, with each newly configured item added to your personal mydlink account for easy organisation and management.

A free mydlink app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices too, so you can log in to access your cameras and manage settings from your chosen mobile device anywhere with a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. The mydlink+ app allows you to manage up to 4 cameras from one mobile device.

Monitoring & Storage

There are a number of options for viewing camera footage on screen. With multiple active cameras, you can drag and drop footage in the interface's viewing area. Each camera is assigned a name to help management, with a recording stats clearly marked. Available Pan, Tilt and Zoom (PTZ) functionality is also available.

User accounts can be set up on the DNR-322L as well, to limit access privileges to stored data or specific camera controls. Recorded footage can be further backed up to external storage. Internally, the two HDD bays can be configured to RAID 1 for failsafing.

D-Link Green

The Network Video Recorder with mydlink is part of D-Link Green, D-Link’s programme for providing eco-friendly alternatives without compromising performance. If installed HDDs are not used in a configurable period of time, or data is not being transmitted, the DNR-322L will enter stand-by mode to save power. Also, the silent fan will adapt its speed depending on the HDD's temperature.
