The new Nokia 6 with Android One. A phone you can rely on.
One of the most popular handsets of last year, Nokia's rebranding was led by the Nokia 6. A pure Android installation, coupled with high-quality design and decent specifications made for a very attractive mid-range smartphone.
For 2018, Nokia has refreshed the design, increasing the processing power, adding a fingerprint sensor and updating the system to be Android One certified.
Android One is Google's new software initiative that provides update commitments from Google directly, rather than the manufacturer. Notably, there will be guaranteed Android system updates for 2 years, plus security updates for a total of 3 years. You'll find the full suite of Google Apps pre-installed, plus free cloud storage through Google Drive & Photos.
As an improvement on the 2017 edition, the new Nokia 6.1 uses the highly-efficient Snapdragon 630 processor for improved performance and power management. Fast charging and data transfer over USN Type-C are available.
ZEISS optics are now available on the camera, as well as the Dual-Sight mode first seen on the Nokia 8, allowing for simultaneous main and selfie camera recording.
