Delivery Information

Please find some useful delivery information below. If you have any queries please contact us.

  • Orders are processed and emails responded to from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 GMT/BST.
  • We do not currently have the facility to update the stock status of all products on our website. Please be aware that payment is taken automatically when an order is placed, so please feel free to contact us before or after placing an order if you wish to check when your order will be dispatched.
  • Please note that the delivery times stated at checkout are estimated only and relate to the date the order is dispatched, not the date the order is placed.
  • A choice of delivery methods for all countries we serve are offered from a drop-down menu at checkout,
  • If an order for delivery to the UK is received before 3.00pm (15:00 GMT/BST) Monday to Friday, we aim to dispatch the same day. Please be aware this is not a guarantee and is subject to stock availability, location and the provision of any additional information we may request before dispatch.
  • If delivery is urgent, we recommend you contact us for exact timings. We may also be able to provide delivery services not advertised online for an additional fee.
  • Standard 'business/working days' for deliveries are Monday to Friday.
  • If you require UK delivery next working day (subject to location), we recommend that you select UK Courier (instead of Special Delivery) and place your order before 3.00pm. The reason for this is that stock is held in various locations and we can dispatch by UK Courier from all of them. UK Special Delivery shipments can only be sent from our head office warehouse, which may mean a delay of one to two working days before dispatch, to allow time for the stock to be relocated there.
  • UK Courier delivery is not available for Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Scottish Highlands/Islands due to the much higher cost of shipment to those areas. Please select UK Special Delivery for these regions.
  • UK Courier orders may be dispatched direct from a manufacturer's UK distributor and you will usually be contacted by the courier on the next working day after dispatch. If you do not hear from the courier please feel free to contact us for tracking details.
  • On the day an order is dispatched we send email notification, including any tracking reference available for tracked mail/courier shipments. Please note that any delivery times stated are intended as a helpful guideline (they are not guaranteed) and apply from the date your order is dispatched.
  • Unless otherwise specified, packages are fully insured for loss or damage whilst in transit to you. Once delivered, responsibility transfers to you. Please inspect your package and ensure that the delivery person makes a note of any visible damage to the outer box/bag before you sign for it. This will enable us to assist you if there has been any damage to the contents.

International shipments

  • Clove Technology is not liable for any customs duties that might be incurred when the goods reach the destination country.
  • We are obliged to state the full value of the goods and it is not possible for us to mark items as a 'gift'.
  • In some countries the import of some smartphones and devices may be restricted, or require an import licence from you, the buyer.
  • It is the responsibility of you, the buyer, to make yourself aware of any customs duties or restrictions applicable to the destination country.
  • If import of the goods is refused and they need to be returned to the UK, this may incur further charges which have to be met by you as the buyer.
  • PLEASE BE AWARE if you choose to have a mobile phone or other cellular device dispatched by International MAIL then delivery may be considerably delayed (approximately an exta 14 days in addition to the standard estimated time stated at checkout). We recommend DHL COURIER or FEDEX COURIER instead if those options are available for your country. Royal Mail uses commercial flights to deliver internationally, so their packages are subject to the same regulations as passenger baggage carried in the hold of the aircraft. This means that packages sent by Royal Mail which contain mobile phones are classed as “containing items suspected of being prohibited or dangerous” due to regulations regarding the transport of lithium batteries by air. Packages are not permitted to travel in the hold of passenger aircraft if the battery is outside the phone.

    Once they have inspected your package and verified that the battery is inside the phone, they will forward it on to the delivery address requested. Unfortunately we are unable to confirm how long this will take but we would expect it to be approximately an extra 14 days (in addition to the average delivery times which are 3 to 7 business days*** within Europe and 7 to 14 business days*** for the rest of the world).

UK DELIVERY SERVICES

A choice of services is available, depending on the contents of your basket.

UK FIRST CLASS POST (no tracking service)

  • Orders are delivered by Royal Mail and packages can not be tracked.
  • Delivery usually takes place within 1 to 2 businessdays after dispatch, although this is not guaranteed
  • If the package is too big for your letterbox and nobody is available to take delivery, then a card will be left enabling you to arrange re-delivery or to collect from your local Royal Mail sorting office. If you do not collect the package within 18 days it will be returned to us.

UK COURIER (tracked service, signature on delivery)

  • Orders shipping to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Scottish Highlands/Islands cannot be sent by our courier services. These will need to be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery and are not guaranteed next business day.
  • Once dispatched, UK courier delivery will normally take place next business day between 7.00am and 8.30pm (Monday to Friday only).
  • The courier used varies - on the morning of delivery you will normally receive either an email or text from the courier so you know which one will be delivering. Orders sent by courier from our head office warehouse are dispatched by Interlink Express - they will contact you to offer a one hour delivery slot and alternative options.
  • If nobody is available to sign for the package, the courier will usually leave a card enabling you to arrange delivery on an alternative weekday, or you can collect from their nearest depot if you prefer.

UK SPECIAL DELIVERY (tracked service, signature on delivery)

  • Special Delivery shipments can only be sent from our head office warehouse, which can sometimes mean a delay of one to two working days before dispatch, to allow time for the stock to be relocated there.
  • Once the order has been dispatched, delivery is guaranteed by 1.00pm the next working day (excluding Northern Ireland, Channel Islands and Scottish Highlands/Islands).
  • A Royal Mail Special Delivery parcel sent on a Friday stands a good chance of arriving on the Saturday if sent to a residential address, however, delivery is actually guaranteed by 1.00pm on Monday.
  • This Royal Mail option is automatically offered on our website for orders weighing under 2kg. Orders over 2kg can also be dispatched by this service at a higher cost - please contact us for a quote**.
  • If Special Delivery is attempted and nobody is available to sign for the package, then a card will be left enabling you to arrange re-delivery or to collect from your local Royal Mail sorting office. If you do not collect the package within 18 days it will be returned to us.
  • There is also a 'Special Delivery' service which guarantees next working day delivery by 9.00am** (this is more expensive and must be requested by telephone**).
  • A Saturday Guaranteed** Special Delivery option is available upon request by telephone** and extra charges will apply for this service.

OVERSEAS (INTERNATIONAL) DELIVERY SERVICES The options available will depend on the contents of your basket and the total value. Couriers offer a faster delivery time but will usually be more expensive. AIRMAIL POST (no tracking service)

  • This is available for small, lower value items and packages can not be tracked.
  • The average delivery times are 5 to 10 business days*** within Europe and 10 to 14 business days*** for the rest of the world.

INTERNATIONAL SIGNED MAIL (signature on delivery)

  • You can track your package online at royalmail.com or www.track-trace.com/post
  • Tracking is available from the UK to the destination country. Detailed tracking may not be available at the destination country.

*** These delivery times are not guaranteed. Packages go through the hands of at least 2 delivery companies (UK and destination country) and local Customs. Deliveries can arrive sooner or indeed later than the estimated time and we are unable to intervene when packages are in transit.

DHL & FEDEX COURIER (tracked services)

  • You can track your package online at dhl.com or www.fedex.com
  • The average estimated delivery time is 1 to 3 business days in Europe and 2 to 4 business days for the rest of the world (these times are not guaranteed and packages are subject to delays by Customs).

EUROPOST (tracked service to Russia) - CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

  • 'Europost' is the name we have given to an alternative option we offer for shipments to Russia. The package will be delivered by EMS Russian Post.
  • Deliveries take 7 to 14 working days on average, but can take up to 4 weeks. Packages are subject to the same Customs import conditions as any other service.
  • You can track your package online at Clove Europost - the reference number is emailed to you on the day of dispatch, but it can be up to 72 hours before any tracking information is available.
  • A signature is required upon delivery. If no-one is available to sign for the package it will be taken to your local post office/mail centre for you to collect
  • Packages are fully insured for loss or damage unless the cheaper option for NO INSURANCE is selected, in which instance NO claim for loss or damage in transit can be made
  • ParcelForce, DHL, FedEx and other courier services are not offered for Russia due to the high level of theft and lost packages

Hand Carry Service (Russia)

  • A premium service where packages are delivered to your door.
  • ALL customs duties are paid and included in the price.
  • £150 cost per phone to include shipping and customs duties. A shipment of 2 phones will cost £300.
  • Deliveries to Moscow and Saint Petersburg arrive within 2-4 days of dispatch.
  • Deliveries outside of Moscow and Saint Petersburg arrive within 4-10 days.
  • Signature required upon delivery.
  • Packages are fully insured for loss or damage during shipping.
