The Samsung Galaxy XCover7 gives enterprises the right tool to get work done. It offers the ideal balance between productivity, durability and connectivity.
Next-level Durability
With its IP68 water and dust resistance and conformance with military standard MIL-STD 810H, allowing for drops of up to 1.5 metres, which is not an issue, the Galaxy XCover7 is one rugged phone.
Vivid Display
Offering more surface area and an improvement in resolution, the display of this updated XCover is more accessible for daily usage. It also has excellent outdoor visibility and features Corning Gorilla Victus+ protection.
Productivity
Businesses can use the programmable keys to customise them with shortcuts to improve staff efficiency, and the inclusion of Samsung Knox Capture streamlines accurate scanning of barcodes.
Connectivity
With workers now needing to interact with digital systems constantly, they need a phone that can provide a fast and reliable connection. The Galaxy XCover7 5G connectivity ensures workers have the speed they need, with the added benefit of Wi-Fi 6 for when they are in the office.
Reliable Power
When you are outside, you want a phone with a long battery life, and the Samsung Galaxy XCover7 has just this, with a larger 4,050mAh removable battery. Ensuring workers can reply on this phone.
Samsung implements a 'region lock' on all new smartphones. This restricts use of SIM cards to the original region their phones are intended to be sold in.
Clove Technology sells Samsung phones intended for the “European” region, which covers the UK, mainland Europe and some other select territories. The full list is below.
If you are ordering for delivery to a destination outside of this list, we will need to activate the phone prior to shipping, so that you can use a local SIM card.
To activate the phone, we must turn it on, complete set-up with a European SIM installed, then make at least 5 minutes of continuous voice call with this SIM.
Without activation, you can only use the device outside of the listed countries if 'roaming' with a SIM card from the intended sales region.
If this activation procedure is not followed then the device will lock if you attempt to use a SIM card from outside of these regions.
COUNTRY LIST: **All member states of the E.E.A and the following additional territories: Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (F.Y.R.O.M), Monaco, Montenegro, San Marino, Serbia and Vatican City.
IF YOUR CHOSEN DELIVERY COUNTY IS NOT LISTED, CLOVE TECHNOLOGY WILL BREAK THE SEAL ON THIS DEVICE AND ACTIVATE IT. YOU MUST AGREE TO THIS PROCEDURE IN THE CHECKOUT BEFORE THE SALE WILL COMPLETE.
I am sure its a good phone, but I needed a tough phone for work to replace my very old xcover3 and this is what is now available. It is to big a phone and is a pain in a pocket when you are trying to work as it gets in the way. I also miss very much the front mounted buttons of my old phone, the side ones are harder to use.
I know I am not in any way a tech wizard but this phone just has to much stuff on it for me to ever want to use.
I hope I get used to working it but I will never get used to its physical size
I recieved the phones, they work well but I cannot use my second sim in it.. The xcover 7 comes in 2 models and Clove send me the esim version
I guess they only have the one model in stock.. I will be shopping elsewhere next time
A very nice phone took me some time to set it up .
Previously I used a Galaxy Xcover Pro. That had two major selling points: FM radio and replaceable (ie sustainable) battery. However it has gotten harder and harder to source a battery, so this year I looked for a new model. I wanted XCover and a recent OS so I decided to sacrifice some Pro features and chose the XCover 7 (Android 14) over the XCover 6 Pro (Android 12). No Xcover 7 Pro model is available yet.
Like the Pro the 7 is robust and stands up to being dropped, or carried in a wet pocket on long hikes. Sadly it has no FM radio receiver. The screen is generously sized so watching video is a pleasanter experience. Photos have a yellower - and to me more attractive - cast than the XCover Pro.
Cons: The icons are large and the graphics in general give a rather coarse appearance. The side key (the 'on' key) stands proud of the casing so I'm forever switching the screen off by mistake. The volume key is a single rocker for up and down making screenshots fiddly. Unless Samsung make batteries available, this phone's life is as limited as any phone without replaceable battery.
Much the same only larger. Shame they couldn't keep the form factor.
